Zion Outpost

Welcome To Mount Zion!

From its first mention in the beginning of King David’s reign, to its last in Revelation, Mount Zion has come to refer to the place where God dwells among His people.  Zion is The City of The Great King” - the capital city in the Kingdom of God, from which “The Lord of Hosts will reign” and “the law goes forth.”  All of the promises of Zion throughout scripture rest upon the fact that “The LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for His dwelling.”  Zion is the place where God’s Kingdom has come, and His will is done; it is “The Heavenly Jerusalem” to which all the true worshippers of God come to worship Him.

An outpost is defined as, “A military base established in another country.”  Even though Jesus said that his disciples were “not of this world,” He told them to pray that God’s kingdom would come and that his will would be done “on earth as it is in heaven.”  In a sense then, there are “outposts” of Zion wherever God’s people have gathered together to worship Him “in spirit and truth” and to establish His kingdom in the earth.

If you are one who has “washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb,” then you “have come to Mount Zion, the city of the Living God.” (Hebrews 12:22)

Allow us then to welcome you to Mount Zion!
