Zion Outpost

Mission Statement

The mission statement of Zion Outpost Ministry is based upon the following statement made by Jesus:

“The Kingdom of God will be… given to a people who will produce its fruit.”  (Matthew 21:43)

We believe this statement contains what is perhaps the clearest expression of the will of God for His Church – to produce the fruit of His Kingdom.  The Church is made up of many different ministries including personal ministries, local congregations and a variety of “para-church” ministries.  Each of these various ministries within the church has its own unique strengths, characteristics, goals and areas of influence.  But the one goal that is common to all of them is to produce the fruit of the Kingdom of God.

We believe that producing the “fruit” of the kingdom of God consists of saying or doing anything that helps to establish God’s kingdom in the earth.  Whether we are proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom to those who have not yet heard it, or teaching, training, and encouraging those who have, we bear the fruit of the kingdom of God when we are speaking His word, sharing His life, ministering His spirit, and expressing His love to others.

The primary focus of this Outpost of Zion is to serve God’s people the word and water of life, thereby fulfilling Jesus’ command to “give them their food at the proper time.” (Matthew 24:45)

With this in mind, it is our hope that you come to this table often and eat and drink freely!
